Skims announced a partnership with DoorDash to launch on-demand delivery for all retail stores across the US.
Shoppers are now able to shop for over 23,000 styles across shapewear, underwear, and loungewear, with delivery available on the same day.
This marks a strategic expansion for the loungewear brand, which brings its selection of apparel and undergarments to customers in a new, more convenient way.
The fashion brand was co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede in 2019 with a goal of offering women premium underwear, loungewear, and shapewear.
Since then, it has gained massive traction among shoppers, and Skims has taken steps to expand its physical retail footprint.
The fashion brand aims to offer innovative solutions that are inclusive to a wide range of body types and partnering with DoorDash to create a fast method of delivery.
Robert Norton, chief commercial officer at Skims said: “Our focus has always been on understanding what our customers need and finding better ways to serve them.
“Our partnership with DoorDash gives customers greater flexibility and convenience when shopping. Skims makes it easier to access the products they want when they want them.
“It’s about putting the customer at the center of the experience and providing a solution that works for them.’’
Skims is now available on the delivery platform from 17 stores across 11 states and Washington D.C, with nine additional locations that are planned for the future.
Shanna Prevé, chief revenue officer at DoorDash said: “DoorDash was built on one idea: you should be able to get everything you need in your neighborhood right now. And increasingly, that’s not just dinner; it’s what you’re wearing to dinner too.”
This comes as DoorDash has continued to grow its retail offering with brands including Foot Locker and Carter’s since it joined the category in 2021.
