Kohl’s reveals 2025 holiday plans with new digital tools and festive in-store experiences

Kohl’s is kicking off the holiday season with expanded product assortments, new digital shopping tools, and festive in-store experiences designed to make gifting easier and more enjoyable.

The retailer’s 2025 holiday lineup includes deeper selections across key categories and exclusive brands, alongside new names such as Bearpaw and Bobby Flay.

Signature Kohl’s labels like LC Lauren Conrad, FLX, and Sonoma Goods for Life will feature expanded size and colour ranges, while national brands including Nike and Levi’s round out the assortment.

Shoppers can also expect a broad toy selection with gifts starting at $4.99.

A central feature of this year’s in-store experience is the “Tree Farm” department, which showcases trees, ornaments, lights, inflatables, and seasonal décor.

Online, Kohl’s is introducing a more personalised approach to shopping through its “My List” feature, allowing customers to save favourite products, organise lists, and share them with friends and family.

Gift inspiration will be easy to find across channels. Kohl’s “Top Gift List” highlights must-have items with “Top Gift Pick” badging, and curated price-based collections will offer ideas for under $10, $15, $25, and $50.

As in previous years, Kohl’s is extending its holiday return window, with most purchases made from October 5 through the end of the year eligible for return until January 31, 2026.

The retailer will also launch “Holiday Quest,” a new interactive game debuting in November that gives shoppers daily chances to win prizes, including a $100,000 grand prize.

“We want gifting to feel easier, more joyful, and more fun for families,” said Christie Raymond, Kohl’s chief marketing officer.

“Whether customers are shopping early, looking for inspiration, or want help organising their lists, our gift solutions and digital experiences will help bring that to life.”

Kohl’s is also extending its holiday cheer beyond its stores through its “Cares Shopping Grant” initiative, providing $1,000 grants to nonprofits nationwide to support gift-giving for individuals in need.

In partnership with Mattel, Kohl’s will release a special “Kohl’s Cares” collection to celebrate the toy maker’s 80th anniversary, featuring Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, and Polly Pocket toys and books—all priced under $10 and available in-store and online.
