Ahold Delhaize USA appoints Ann Dozier as new CIO

Ahold Delhaize USA has announced the appointment of Ann Dozier as its new chief information officer.

Dozier will be responsible for overseeing the IT operations for the company’s US brands, including Food Lion, Giant Food, The Giant Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.

Her primary focus will be on advancing the technology that supports the omnichannel strategies of these brands.

Before joining Ahold Delhaize USA, Dozier served as senior vice president and chief information and technology officer at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, where she spent over a decade.

Her previous experience also includes leadership roles in ecommerce, supply chain, IT and commercial operations at major companies such as the Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Dean Foods, and Colgate-Palmolive.

“We are excited to welcome Ann to the team,” said JJ Fleeman, CEO of Ahold Delhaize USA.

“Her extensive background in both IT and food retail is already having a positive impact on our business.

“Ann’s expertise in developing transformative technology strategies, coupled with her strong leadership in building high-performing teams, will be key as we continue to enhance our technology capabilities and grow as an omnichannel retailer.”

In addition to her leadership at Ahold Delhaize USA, Dozier is passionate about mentoring future technology leaders, working with organizations such as IT Women, Women in Technology, and NextUp.

Dozier’s accomplishments have earned her recognition, including being named CIO of the year by Consumer Goods Technology.

“I’m honoured to join Ahold Delhaize USA,” Dozier added.

“I look forward to driving further technological transformation to enhance strategic growth and customer experiences, while supporting our associates and reinforcing the company’s position as an employer of choice in the US.”

Ahold Delhaize, headquartered in the Netherlands, operates over 2,000 stores across 23 states.
