Gopuff is expanding its reach into a new consumer touchpoint through a partnership with NextNRG, integrating its delivery platform into the company’s EzFill mobile fueling service.
The collaboration will introduce “EzShop,” a new in-app shopping feature launching in select markets in Q2 2026. The service will allow customers to order from more than 5,000 items, including groceries, snacks, beverages, household goods, over-the-counter medications and automotive essentials, while refuelling their vehicles.
Orders will be fulfilled directly to customers at the fuel pump in as little as 15 minutes, leveraging Gopuff’s existing micro-fulfilment network and logistics infrastructure.
The integration enables NextNRG to layer digital commerce onto its mobile fueling platform without significant capital investment, effectively turning a routine stop into a broader convenience shopping moment.
NextNRG CEO Michael D. Farkas said the move represents a shift in the company’s model, positioning it as a platform where “energy and convenience converge” while unlocking additional revenue per delivery.
For Gopuff, the partnership extends its strategy of embedding its service into high-frequency consumer environments, with senior VP Alberto Menolascina highlighting the ability to combine everyday errands into a single, frictionless interaction.
The fuel pump initiative follows other partnerships aimed at expanding Gopuff’s distribution beyond its core app.
The company recently teamed up with Landing, a flexible-stay apartment provider, to offer residents rapid delivery with built-in discounts and app-based ordering.
The EzShop rollout is expected to expand to additional markets through the end of 2026, as both companies look to scale a model that integrates last-mile delivery into everyday routines.
Founded in 2013, Gopuff operates a network of micro-fulfilment centres and delivers a curated assortment of goods in as little as 15 minutes across hundreds of cities in the U.S. and U.K., positioning itself at the intersection of convenience retail and on-demand logistics.
