The Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation (UBCF) is marking a decade of philanthropic work focused on empowering women and teens, with total donations expected to approach $100 million by the end of 2024.
Established 10 years ago, the foundation formed by the beauty retailer focuses on three key aspects: health and wellness, education and empowerment, and humanitarian relief.
According to the business, UBCF supports more than 20 nonprofit partners nationwide whose missions align with these focus areas.
Among its initiatives, the foundation has raised $2m through the Rare Impact Fund, a platform created in partnership with makeup brand Rare Beauty to fund and support mental health programs for young people.
Anita Ryan, chief human resources officer at Ulta Beauty and president of UBCF said: “We are so grateful for the impact that our associates, guests and partners have helped us make over the last decade.
“UBCF is grounded in the belief that a positive sense of well-being should be accessible and achievable for all. We’re thrilled to unlock so many possibilities through our unique position to empower women and teens across the globe.”
Additionally, the foundation’s inaugural in-store fundraising campaign generated $3.2m and helped amplify support for partner organizations and expand UBCF’s reach.
Some of the company’s major partnerships include Women’s Cancer Research Fund, Girls Inc., and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, each receiving donations aimed at improving health outcomes and fostering resilience among women and teens.
The foundation also supports mental health initiatives designed to provide vital resources for young people facing emotional and psychological challenges.
Moving forward, the charitable foundation arm of Ulta Beauty plans to continue backing the needs of women and teens through funding and collaborative initiatives.
