Mango enhances global strategy with AI-powered planning

Fashion retailer Mango is advancing its global operations by adopting an AI-driven software platform to enhance planning and decision-making.

With a presence in nearly 120 markets and approximately 2,850 stores, Mango faces shifts in product demand, evolving consumer trends, and supply chain challenges.

To address these complexities, the company is integrating o9’s Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Assortment Planning, and Demand Planning solutions.

According to the retailer, this transition will replace existing fragmented systems with a more cohesive, data-driven framework powered by artificial intelligence.

o9’s Digital Brain platform brings key planning functions onto a single system, streamlining operations and breaking down silos between teams.

The advanced capabilities of this technology aim to improve real-time decision-making, helping the retailer respond swiftly to market dynamics.

“This partnership is a testament to Mango’s forward-thinking approach to leveraging technology for improved planning and decision-making,” said Chakri Gottemukkala, CEO and co-founder of o9.

“By integrating its planning functions on the o9 platform, Mango will gain the agility, intelligence and real-time decision-making capabilities necessary to achieve better business outcomes.”

With extensive expertise in fashion retail planning, o9 is well-positioned to support Mango’s digital transformation, the retailer noted.
