Lowe’s has announced the launch of its Springfest event featuring its private label range as well as products from national brands, with discounts for loyalty shoppers.
The offers on home improvement items will run from 18 March to 16 April, aiming to provide budget-friendly homeware products, according to a press release from the company.
Lowe’s recently launched its private label brand, Lowe’s Essentials, which includes hangers, watering cans, garden tool sets, a stainless-steel grill brush, and foam kneeling pad. Products from Lowe’s Essentials are all priced below $10.
Jen Wilson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said: “This spring at Lowe’s, we’re helping homeowners and pros get the most out of spring with the amazing deals on Lowe’s exclusive products and special perks for our loyalty members.”
As part of the sale, the homeware retailer is offering sales on home improvement items, select appliances, lawnmowers, and leaf blowers.
This is part of the retailer’s growth strategy highlighted in an earnings call, which includes the increased assortment in product offerings, including private labels.
Bill Boltz, executive vice president of merchandising, added: “Because our private brands typically have higher margins than their national branded counterparts, these products will help increase our private brand sales and support our margin goals.
“This spring will lean into loyalty by offering exclusive member deals and doorbusters, featuring some of our best-selling products, and will support these offers with tech-enabled marketing designed to drive traffic and sales during this important season.”
Lowe’s currently operates over 1700 stores and joins a growing list of retailers launching their own in-house labels aimed at boosting sales.
