Target set to launch Beauty Studio with over 1,600 products

Target has announced the launch of an in-store Beauty Studio which has a curated range of over 1,600 products from 90 international brands.

The Beauty Studio is set to launch from 10 September in over 600 stores nationwide and online as the retailer enters the next phase of growth in its beauty section.

Target is set to offer dedicated beauty advisors, rotating product features, and various beauty products from upcoming brands.

The collection includes a wide variety of trending beauty products across skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance, bath and body, and nails, according to the business.

Over two-thirds of the selected brands in Target Beauty Studio are new to the retailer as it aims to expand its global listings for shoppers.

Additionally, there will be product testing opportunities, rotating product features, and a dedicated minis assortment.

Amanda Nusz, SVP of merchandising, essentials, and beauty at Target said: “When guests shop for beauty, they want to pick up their standbys while also exploring what’s new and trending, and Target Beauty Studio is designed with that mix in mind.

“It’s an inspiring destination to discover what’s new, now and next, in beauty—and a powerful example of how our merchandising authority comes to life through an elevated guest experience.”

The retailer has added personalized service and recommendations through their dedicated beauty advisors, who will help customers shop for the latest trends.

Target Circle members will also be able to receive exclusive offers and experiences, which creates opportunities for engagement with the latest trends and products.

The upcoming Beauty Studio is part of the retailer’s investment in diversifying its assortment and creating an improved shopping experience, as it plans to return to growth.

This expansion comes after the general merchandise retailer posted strong Q2 results and increased its future guidance.
