Kroger has partnered with Instacart to allow customers to get groceries and prescriptions delivered in one order directly through Kroger’s websites and apps.
The grocery and prescription delivery is now available at nearly all Kroger banners nationwide, including Fred Meyer, Ralph’s, and Harris Teeter. This new integrated feature connects shoppers to delivery from over 2,200 Kroger pharmacy locations.
The move comes ahead of the busy back-to-school season and removes the need to order twice by combining groceries and eligible prescriptions into one cart.
As part of the new feature, eligible prescriptions are filled and verified by Kroger pharmacy teams before being delivered directly to the store by an Instacart shopper, and the medicine is secured in tamper-resistant packaging.
Kroger and Instacart will send a notification to customers once the prescription is ready, and the order will be delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep after it is verified. Additionally, customers can select between a direct prescription delivery or leaving it at their door.

This move is part of the retailer’s commitment to offer added convenience for shoppers in store and online with access to food, pharmacy services, and everyday essentials.
