DoorDash has expanded its retail partners ahead of the back-to-school season to help families prepare ahead of time with more on-demand delivery options.
The delivery platform has added Barnes & Noble, Carter’s, and Kohl’s to its online marketplace, which aims to help parents consolidate shopping for school clothes, supplies, and new books.
Barnes & Noble offers books for children’s studies and reading lists as well as an expansive selection of toys, games, stationery, gifts, and movies.
Carter’s has DoorDash’s largest range of kids’ apparel, and Kohl’s has a wide assortment of essentials, including outfits, sneakers, and dorm room decorations.
There are currently over half a million products eligible for delivery in less than an hour across categories including apparel, books, baby & kids, and household.
Mike Goldblatt, VP of Enterprise Partnerships at DoorDash said: “Back-to-school is one of those seasons where there’s just no time to plan every trip. As a dad, I know how this goes. It’s the sports uniform you realize is missing the night before practice, or the notebook nobody remembers until they’re already out the door.
“Bringing Barnes & Noble, Carter’s, and Kohl’s onto DoorDash means parents can get what they need in minutes instead of making another stop. For our retail partners, it means getting in front of consumers exactly when they need them most.”
In the first quarter of 2026, DoorDash returned convenience delivery within reach for over 60 per cent of the US population with an average delivery time of 30 minutes or less.
This move is part of the delivery platform’s continued push to provide customers with more quick options from a wide range of retailers.
