Amazon is rolling out a new artificial intelligence solution designed to act as a digital coworker for employees and business users.
The tech giant announced the launch of Amazon Quick Suite, an “AI teammate” developed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that allows users to ask questions, analyse data, automate workflows, and streamline day-to-day operations.
Once connected to company data, employees can use the chat-based tool, nicknamed “Quick”, through a web interface or via integrations with applications such as Office 365 and browser extensions.
Quick can perform complex tasks ranging from generating reports to building workflow automations, all through simple natural language prompts.
The platform comes with more than 50 built-in connectors for tools including Adobe Analytics, SharePoint, Snowflake, Google Drive, OneDrive, Outlook, ServiceNow, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon S3.
It also supports OpenAPI and Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing users to connect Quick to custom data sources and over 1,000 apps.
According to Amazon, Quick’s versatility allows professionals in any department, from marketing to finance, to interact with their data conversationally.
For instance, a marketer can query campaign performance metrics and customer feedback directly within Quick to instantly generate a visualised analysis without needing business intelligence expertise.
In one real-world example, Amazon’s finance team uses Quick to automatically reconcile thousands of invoices each month.
The AI tool pulls data from multiple transportation management systems and internal databases to help forecast cash flow, identify payment blockers, and conduct root cause analysis — a process that once took weeks and now takes days.
“We’ve been blown away by all the creative ways people have used Quick so far, and we’re excited to see how others will use it in the future,” said Swami Sivasubramanian, Amazon’s vice president of agentic AI.
“There are so many possibilities to dig into with these tools, and our team is hard at work finding ways to make them even more useful for customers.”
The introduction of Quick Suite follows Amazon’s earlier release of Bedrock, its generative AI foundation model for developers and enterprises.
The move also reflects intensifying competition in enterprise AI, as rivals like Walmart have begun licensing their own in-house AI solutions, such as its logistics optimisation system, to external business clients.
