Italian luxury brand Moorer to launch first US flagship in New York City

Moorer, the Italian outerwear label known for combining precision tailoring with advanced fabrics, is preparing to open its first store in the United States.

Real estate services firm Colliers confirmed that the brand has signed a long-term lease for a 3,400-square-foot corner space at Gansevoort Street in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.

The flagship is scheduled to open this winter and will debut with a newly approved façade.

Founded in Verona, Italy, Moorer produces all of its apparel domestically, specialising in jackets, coats, and vests. The New York opening marks a significant step in its global growth, bringing its boutique count to 10 worldwide.

The Meatpacking District location places Moorer alongside luxury peers such as Hermès, Brunello Cucinelli, Zegna, and Loro Piana.

The neighbourhood continues to draw high-end brands: Bottega Veneta announced plans last month for its third Gansevoort Street store, opening in spring 2026.

“The Meatpacking District has emerged as one of Manhattan’s premier luxury retail corridors, drawing from both a sophisticated local customer base and international visitors,” said Thomas Citron, executive VP at Colliers.

“This flagship will provide Moorer with tremendous exposure, dynamic co-tenancy, and proximity to world-class cultural destinations, making it the ideal neighborhood for their US debut.”

The deal was arranged by a Colliers team led by Citron with Alexander Green and Adam Moss, while Michael O’Neill of Cushman & Wakefield represented the property owner.
