Blueland cleaning products set to arrive in Target stores

Eco-friendly cleaning products Blueland is set to launch its nine products at over 1,800 Target stores in the US and on the retail giant’s website.

The plastic-free items available through the partnership include dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, toilet bowl cleaning tablets, and a hand soap starter set. Items are affordably priced between $6.99 and $13.99 and include exclusive-to-Target scents.

The brand started off as a DTC business and eventually expanded countrywide, selling over 10 million of its eco-conscious products to customers.

Blueland was previously sold on the shelves of other brick-and-mortar retailers, including Costco, Kroger, and Whole Foods.

Sarah Paiji Yoo, CEO and co-founder of Blueland, said: “Expanding into large retailers like Target allows us to meet consumers where they are, making it even easier for them to switch to products that are better for their families and the planet.

“This decision underscores our commitment to making safe, high-quality cleaning products available for anyone who wants them.”

The sustainable brand, which was founded in 2019, aims to increase the accessibility of its eco-friendly products.

Target has been tapping into strategic partnerships as part of its business strategy to drive sales by increasing the product assortment for customers.

Recently, the retail giant launched an exclusive collection of luxury bedding with Parachute and also teamed up with fashion brand Kate Spade to launch a 300-piece collection.

The retailer has set ambitious plans to achieve $15 billion in sales growth by 2030, which involves leveraging strategic partnerships with brands such as Blueland.
