Sprouts Farmers Market is gearing up for another year of growth following a successful 2024.
The natural and organic grocer opened 33 new stores last year, including its first-ever location in Wyoming, bringing its total footprint to 440 stores across 24 states.
The company plans to add at least 35 more locations in 2025, with several set to open in Florida.
Financially, Sprouts ended 2024 on a high note, with Q4 net sales surging by 18% to $2 billion, with comparable store sales climbing 11.5%.
Earnings per share reached $0.79, a significant jump from $0.49 in the same period the previous year.
For the full year, net sales increased 13% to $7.7 billion, while comparable store sales grew 7.6%. Annual earnings per share rose to $3.75, up from $2.50 in 2023, with adjusted earnings per share at $2.84.
“2024 was a remarkable year for our company,” said CEO Jack Sinclair.
“Our teams across the business delivered on our strategy and set us up for even greater success in the future. Our unique, attribute-driven offering resonates more than ever with our target customers.”
Looking ahead, Sprouts expects net sales growth of 10.5% to 12.5% in 2025, with comparable store sales projected to rise between 4.5% and 6.5%.
The company’s Florida expansion kicks off on January 31 with a new store in St. Johns, followed by openings in Melbourne-Wickham, Largo, and Coconut Creek in the coming months.
