Lee has partnered with Indian Motorcycle to release a collaborative capsule collection, which brings together two major American brands.
The new menswear collection features Lee’s archival silhouettes, which were worn nearly a century ago.
Indian Motorcycle has operated since 1901 and has a long-standing presence in the American market.
Some of the key parts of the collection include the Lee x Indian Motorcycle Rider Jacket and 101Z Rider Jean.
According to the business, the pieces were crafted with premium Italian denim and offered in raw and black washes.
The two brands built the new pieces based off their heritage within the US.
Sedgwick Cole Jr, senior director of global design, Lee said: “Lee 101 represents the pinnacle of Lee’s heritage denim and, like Indian Motorcycle, is designed with top quality and craftsmanship. The capsule was inspired by the significance of the Original Rider.
“It’s a dual meaning: the person who rides Indian Motorcycles now and then and the iconic Lee Rider jacket and jean. This capsule is designed for the trailblazer inside all of us,” said Sedgwick Cole Jr., senior director of global design, Lee.
Additionally, the collection also includes a heritage-inspired Union-Alls jumpsuit and graphic shirts. The pieces feature co-branded details, archival influences, and the Indian Motorcycle’s logo.
Mike Kennedy, CEO of Indian Motorcycle, said: “As two iconic American brands, this collaboration represents our shared roots in craftsmanship, individuality, and the spirit of adventure.
“We’re excited to bring this partnership to life as Indian Motorcycle continues its 125th anniversary celebration, a milestone that gives us the opportunity to honor our past while looking ahead to what’s next.”
The new collection is available from 15 October on the fashion retailer’s website and in stores across Europe and the US.
