Primark announced an expansion in the US with a second store set to open in Georgia on September 24 at the Augusta Mall.
This marks the fast-fashion retailer’s 48th store in the US as the business continues to grow its real estate footprint in the country.
The new location has 28,000 sq ft. of space, which offers the fast fashion retailer’s assortment of clothing to shoppers in Georgia.
This follows Primark’s recent store opening in Georgia in early September located at Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville. The move is a part of a business strategy to increase its presence across the UK and solidify its presence in the fashion segment.
Kevin Tulip, president of Primark US said: “Primark is excited to have such a busy month in Georgia, as it opens not one but two new stores in the state. We can’t wait to open doors and offer area residents Primark’s signature combination of trending style and everyday essentials, all at affordable prices.
“We know that Primark’s outstanding value is more important than ever to today’s consumers, and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers in the culturally rich and historic city of Augusta.”
The official opening event will happen on September 24, and shoppers will be able to receive music and giveaways on a first-come, first-served basis.
The fashion retailer, which was founded in Ireland, aims to offer shoppers essential apparel within an affordable range, including starting at $12, men’s tees at $5, and girl’s and boy’s sweatshirts at $8.
Additionally, Georgia super fans can also receive gear from their regional teams, such as the Atlanta Hawks and Falcons, starting at $16.
