Westbend space now 100% occupied by high-end retailers
Trademark Property Company has announced that Pottery Barn and West Elm — both part of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio — will anchor the former Macy’s space at WestBend in Fort Worth, Texas. The two home furnishing brands will occupy the 22,126 sq ft site along University Drive, bringing the property to full retail occupancy.
Pottery Barn will relocate from nearby University Park Village, while West Elm will return to Fort Worth after closing its previous store, which had opened in 2017. This will mark West Elm’s 10th location in Texas.
“At Westbend, introducing elevated concepts that integrate seamlessly with the ethos of the property has always been a focus, and the addition of Pottery Barn and West Elm perfectly represents this initiative,” said Daniel Goldware, VP of leasing at Trademark. “We are excited to expand Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s presence within Trademark’s portfolio with this unique deal, which brings two of the biggest home furnishings brands to the heart of Fort Worth’s top retail district.”
Located along the Trinity River and Trail system, WestBend features a public trailhead, bike repair station, outdoor gathering spaces, and public art installations. The new tenants reinforce the center’s identity as a lifestyle-driven destination for high-end retail, wellness, and dining. The stores are expected to open by May 2026.
The news follows a strong performance by parent company Williams-Sonoma, Inc., which reported Q4 FY2024 revenues of $2.462 billion, with both quarterly and full-year earnings up, according to Furniture Today.
