Ahold Delhaize has announced the appointment of Sanja Krajnovic as chief supply chain officer and Keith Nicks as chief commercial and digital officer.
The new appointments follow the recent naming of a new chief information officer Ann Dozier.
Sanja Krajnovic previously served as the executive VP of Ahold Delhaize USA Distribution and Ahold Delhaize USA Transportation and joined the company in August 2022.
She brings years of experience, having previously served as senior VP of store operations at Dollar General.
Krajnovic also worked at Target for 25 years in a number of different positions spanning retail operations and supply chains while leading business initiatives.
JJ Fleeman, CEO of Ahold Delhaize USA, said, “Given the scope of her role leading one of the largest supply chains on the East Coast, with more than 20 distribution centers and an expansive transportation network, it is important to have Sanja and her teams represented within our U.S. leadership group.”
“I’m confident she will continue to add value in this role, applying a strategic approach to supply chain management and partnering with each of the brands to advance their local brand strategies and growth,” he added.
Meanwhile, Keith Nicks was tapped for the role of chief commercial and digital officer and will oversee the retail media and marketing operations as well as e-commerce partnerships.
Nicks joined Ahold Delhaize as chief digital officer in April 2024 and worked as digital and e-commerce officer at Peapod Digital Labs before taking on his role.
Fleeman commented, “By uniting leadership for commercial and digital, we continue to drive simplicity and effectiveness with teams focused on both strategy and value across the full commercial ecosystem.”
‘’Keith has extensive experience leading digital, e-commerce, category management, retail media, and retail operations across a number of businesses, making him the right leader to carry our commercial organization forward.’’
Headquartered in the Netherlands, Ahold Delhaize operates approximately 2,000 stores in 23 states.
