Petco expands delivery options through Uber Eats partnership

Petco customers across the US can now have pet supplies delivered on demand through Uber Eats.

This new partnership ensures convenient access to the retailer’s range of pet products, reinforcing Petco’s commitment to meeting consumer demand.

To celebrate the launch, Uber Eats is offering both new and existing users a 40% discount on orders of $50 or more, up to $30, until 31 March 2025.

“People are more connected and committed to their pets today than ever before,” said Steve Janowiak, VP of digital at Petco.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Uber Eats and give pet parents another easy way to get the trusted food, treats and supplies they need — right to their door and right when they need it.”

This move builds on Petco’s ongoing expansion into digital and delivery services.

In March 2023, the company introduced a subscription pet food service in partnership with Freshpet. A few months later, in August, it extended its delivery options through DoorDash.

“As the pet parent of two naughty cats and one playful German Shepherd, I’m thrilled to welcome Petco to Uber Eats and help make life easier for so many caregivers across the country,” added Hashim Amin, head of retail in North America for Uber.

“With Uber’s technology and nationwide delivery network, we’re making it more convenient than ever to get the quality pet products families count on delivered straight to your doorstep.”

By leveraging Uber Eats’ extensive delivery network, Petco strengthens its omnichannel strategy, ensuring pet owners can quickly access key supplies.
