Z Gallerie is making a return under new ownership, with its first store set to open in Los Angeles next month.
The home décor and furniture brand, which filed for bankruptcy in late 2023, was acquired by Karat Home for $7.2 million earlier this year.
Following the purchase, the company quickly revived Z Gallerie’s website and announced plans to reintroduce physical locations in 2025, an effort that is now taking shape.
The relaunch includes an updated digital shopping experience, a renewed focus on in-store retail and the introduction of a membership program.
Scarlett Fan, owner of Karat Home, described the reopening as a new chapter for the brand, one that seeks to “inspire a new generation of customers with exclusive collections, a refreshed digital presence and a renewed commitment to quality and accessibility.”
“Z Gallerie is about more than furniture — it’s about creating spaces that inspire and tell a story. This grand reopening represents our dedication to honoring the brand’s legacy while introducing a bold, modern vision for the future,” she added.
“With our enhanced shopping experience and strategic retail expansion, we are ensuring that customers can engage with our brand in ways that best suit their lifestyles.”
As part of the relaunch, a warehouse outlet store will open in Gardena, California in late March, offering discounted home furnishings and contributing to local wildfire recovery efforts through donations and community support.
A temporary pop-up location is also planned for Texas in September 2025, with Dallas and Houston under consideration.
