Lululemon has announced the appointment of Tara Poseley to its board of directors, effective on 19 October 2026.
This expands the fashion brand’s board of directors to 13 directors, with 12 of them being independent.
Poseley brings decades of industry experience to the role, most recently working as CEO of Paula’s Choice Skincare from 2016 to 2023.
Prior to the role, she worked as chief product officer of Lululemon from 2013 to 2015 and SVP and president of Kmart Apparel from 2010 to 2013.
As part of the new role, she will assist in shaping the board’s knowledge across product innovation, brand strategy, operations, and consumer-focused growth.
Additionally, she has held senior leadership positions at other fashion retailers, including Gap where she worked for close to 15 years.

“Having served in various executive leadership roles, including previously as chief product officer of Lululemon, she brings unique insights that will benefit the company and board as we maintain our focus on reinvigorating the brand, strengthening our competitive position, and enhancing value for our shareholders.”

The move comes as the business recently made a major reshuffle to its leadership team as it prepares for the next phase of growth, which involves turnaround efforts.
The retailer aims to restructure operations following a weak second quarter performance. Lululemon’s second-quarter revenue decreased by 4 per cent to $2.4bn, with the Americas’ net revenue going down by 8 per cent.
