Fabletics expands College Shop to over 200 campuses

Online activewear brand Fabletics has announced expansion plans for its College Shop to include over 200 US colleges and universities, with the goal of growing its presence within the collegiate apparel category.

There is a wide range of participating schools with every size, region, and level of collegiate athletics, from Indiana, LSU, Michigan, and Ohio State to Central Oklahoma, Emory, and Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Fabletics’ range aims to offer high-quality pieces of clothing that can be worn on campus every day with its best-selling styles, embroidered matching sets, and custom collegiate graphics.

According to this business, the move also creates a new entry point to Fabletics for students, alumni, and fans across the country.

Additionally, ahead of the back-to-school season, Fabletics is also testing the College Shop in 14 retail stores near major university campuses, including Arizona State University, Michigan State, and UCLA.

The pilot will launch a handful of core styles and test in-person demand to help plan a broader retail rollout.

The College Shop is the latest part of the brand’s growth strategy, which focuses on product innovation and customization to drive more brand loyalty and engagement.

Meera Bhatia, president of Fabletics said: “The initial response to our College Shop was stronger than we anticipated, and that’s exactly why we’re doubling down. Reaching more than 200 colleges and universities is an exciting milestone and an opportunity to introduce Fabletics to new customers while giving existing shoppers another way to experience the brand.

“As we continue building the assortment, we’re combining the quality and value our customers love with custom graphics and elevated styles to give fans something special and distinctly Fabletics.”

This comes after Fabletics recently announced plans to triple its global footprint by opening 20 new international stores stores.
