Lululemon to open 100th EMEA store with first location in Poland

Lululemon is marking a milestone in its international expansion, set to open its 100th store in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region on March 13 in Warsaw, Poland.

The store is the brand’s first in Poland and is being launched through a franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group.

The Poland opening is part of Lululemon’s record expansion in 2026, with six new market entries planned through its franchise model. Other planned launches this year include Hungary, Romania, Greece, India, and Austria.

The expansion comes as Lululemon searches for a new CEO following Calvin McDonald’s departure on Jan. 31. McDonald, who led the company since 2018, will assume leadership of The Wella Company on April 2.

Lululemon first entered EMEA in 2014 with a Covent Garden, London store and now operates a mix of company- and franchise-run locations across 19 markets.

Earlier this month, the brand opened its latest company-operated store on High Street Kensington in London, its 13th in the city.

“As we continue to see strong demand for Lululemon across the region, we’re thrilled to grow our physical presence in Europe with the opening of the 100th store in EMEA, and first location in Poland, nearly 12 years after opening our first store in the region,” said Sarah Clark, senior VP EMEA at Lululemon.

“We continue to see significant opportunity within EMEA as we scale our international business. With this new store, we look forward to new guests across the region being able to experience our high performance and high style products, alongside our community-led experiences rooted in movement and wellbeing.”
