The collaboration is part of Reebok’s ongoing plan to rebuild its identity as a team sports footwear and apparel company following its acquisition by Authentic Brands Group from Adidas for $2.5 billion in 2022.
As part of its plans, the company has leveraged partnerships with key professional sports players globally to increase distribution and further the business objectives.
Todd Krinsky, Reebok’s CEO, added: “Golf is undergoing a cultural transformation, and Reebok is uniquely positioned to shake up the sport with products that bring performance, style, and accessibility to a broader audience.
“This launch reflects our commitment to diversifying our sport portfolio and serving athletes in new, exciting ways.”
The new franchise arrives after Reebok debuted a new basketball shoe after more than a decade on 13 February.
