Good American debuts at Macy’s

Macy’s has partnered with Good American, the denim brand co-founded by Emma Grede and Khloé Kardashian, to introduce its denim collection in 36 stores.

The Good American collection, featuring denim and ready-to-wear styles in sizes 00 to 5XL, is set to launch in stores this spring and expand to 79 locations by fall.

Macy’s plans to offer Good American products across its ecommerce website, mobile app, and select locations in the US.

The deal is part of the department store retailer’s strategy to broaden its in-store product offerings.

Nata Dvir, chief merchandising officer for Macy’s, said: “We are thrilled to launch Good American. The brand complements Macy’s selection of premium fashion brands and expands our denim assortment.

“Through this partnership, we’re delivering the best in fashion and trends to inspire our customers with compelling product and newness.”

Additionally, the partnership allows Good American to strengthen its retail presence.

Emma Grede, CEO and co-founder of Good American, commented: “Partnering with Macy’s is an exciting milestone for Good American and a key component of the brand’s overall retail expansion strategy.

“Launching in Macy’s reinforces our commitment to meeting our customers where they are at, considering we are seeing more and more customers wanting to shop in person in stores.”

Good American had a successful launch in 2018, achieving $1 million in sales on its first day.

The partnership comes after Macy’s reported mixed results for Q4 2024, with net sales declining by 4.3% to $7.8 billion, comparable sales increasing by 0.2%, and net income reaching $342 million, a significant improvement from the $128 million net loss reported the previous year.
