Dollar Tree to open new 1.25M-sq.-ft. Southwest distribution center in 2026

Dollar Tree Inc. is expanding its supply chain footprint with a major new facility in Arizona.

The discount retailer has acquired a 1.25-million-sq.-ft. turnkey distribution center in Litchfield Park, just outside Phoenix, with plans to open in spring 2026.

The site will be Dollar Tree’s first operation at the facility and will serve as a key logistics hub for stores across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

“Our new distribution center will strengthen our supply chain in the Southwest, enabling us to serve stores with greater speed and efficiency,” said Roxanne Weng, Dollar Tree’s chief supply chain officer.

“This ensures the value our customers count on – and the exciting new treasures they look forward to – are always in stock. It also represents a meaningful investment in the local community, creating new career opportunities and supporting our company’s future growth.”

The fully climate-controlled site will create approximately 400 jobs in the area and will be among Dollar Tree’s largest distribution centers to date.

The project follows the company’s recent groundbreaking on a new 1-million-sq.-ft. facility in Marietta, Oklahoma, replacing the site destroyed by a tornado in April 2024.

The rebuilt center is expected to be fully operational by spring 2027 and will serve around 700 stores across the western and southwestern US.

Headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, Dollar Tree operates more than 9,000 stores and 18 distribution centers across 48 US. states and five Canadian provinces under the Dollar Tree and Dollar Tree Canada brands.
