Alo Yoga to open new store at Mall of America, Minnesota

Athletic apparel brand Alo Yoga will open a new store at Minnesota’s Mall of America by Q3 2025, expanding its Midwest presence.

“The opening of Alo Yoga will be a fantastic addition to our retail mix as we continue expanding our athleisure offerings,” said Carrie Charleston, VP of leasing at Mall of America.

“Alo Yoga has a strong and engaged community with an incredible mission to inspire mindfulness. We are excited to collaborate with this exceptional brand as we continue evolving the retail experience for our shoppers.”

The 6000 sq ft space will feature its products from its loungewear, footwear, and wellness collections.

Alo Yoga was founded in 2007 by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge and currently operates around 50 stores in the US, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia.

The Beverly Hills-based brand has announced plans to expand its retail footprint into Europe and reach up to 100 locations in the upcoming year.

The luxury retailer continued its expansion in the Middle East following its debut in Kuwait in 2022, by opening a flagship store in Dubai, UAE in February 2024.

In addition to its athletic apparel business, the brand has business partnerships that involve movement and community-building.

Alo Yoga also has a wellness membership app that offers online workout and meditation classes.

The store will be located on Level 1 West of the shopping center.
