Etsy unveils Spring 2025 enhancements to empower sellers

Etsy has introduced a suite of updates aimed at enhancing the seller experience on its platform. Announced on April 25, 2025, these changes focus on improving listing tools, streamlining shop management, and expanding support options for sellers.

Sellers can now utilize new photo editing features within the Etsy Seller app, including background processing and customizable filters, to create consistent and appealing product images.

The app also allows viewing all listing categories and subcategories, aiding in better product categorization. Additionally, a beta feature is being tested to provide real-time listing quality feedback, helping sellers optimize their listings before they go live.

The Shop Manager interface has been redesigned for easier navigation, highlighting essential tools like shop statistics and order data.

Performance improvements have been made to the Orders and Sales & Discounts pages, reducing loading times and enhancing workflow efficiency. The updated Etsy Apps page now facilitates the discovery of third-party tools to support business growth.

Etsy has expanded access to its support team, allowing eligible sellers, including those in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, select high-volume sellers, and all Star Sellers, to contact Etsy Support directly from Shop Manager.

The company plans to continue expanding this support capability throughout the year. Additionally, improvements to Etsy Ads placement in search results aim to help buyers connect with relevant listings more effectively.

Etsy is also testing updates to the Shop Home layout, designed to make shop inventories easier to browse and increase the likelihood of sales.
