Ashley set to open a new store in Las Vegas

Furniture retailer Ashely is set to open the doors to its largest store in North America in Las Vegas, which features an 88,000-square-foot showroom and a 218,000-square-foot warehouse.

The retailer aims to create an interactive guest experience that offers an expansive assortment of Ashley’s products.

The company chose Las Vegas due to the city’s innovation and its status as a major furniture supplier.

Chad Spencer, CEO of Ashley Global Retail said: “This location is a reflection of what Ashley stands for: style that inspires, value that delivers, and a clear purpose to help people love where they live.

“It’s not just a store, it’s a destination where customers can explore, discover, and design a home that feels truly their own.”
The company plans to engage the local community by hosting design workshops and events and will constantly update its collection of furniture products.

Ashley is investing in technology and automation as part of its broader business strategy, developing its Samsung smart-home push.

The furniture retailer teamed up with Samsung to develop The Connected Home Experience, which features smart home devices and will be available at the new Las Vegas branch.

Other retailers are also expanding their brick-and-mortar fleet, with furniture retailer Wayfair building a new store that is set to open in 2027.

Swedish furniture giant Ikea is also growing its presence in the US with three small-format stores in Texas.

Meanwhile, other furniture retail stores are struggling to stay afloat amid the mounting pressure from tariffs, with At Home reportedly filing for bankruptcy.
